Abacus Montessori Pre-School - Nursery School Sunset Beach, Milnerton

Abacus Montessori Pre-School, is a home based community Pre-school in Sunset Beach, Milnerton, which opened its doors in May 2011. Lyndsey has two daughters one aged fifteen and a five year old. Lyndsey is dedicated to provide a healthy, safe and nurturing Pre-school school environment in which the children can grow and learn and it offers the freedom of a large enclosed garden with jungle gym in which they can play. The nursery school is dedicated to provide healthy and happy surroundings in which a small child can explore and realise his/her full potential.

At Abacus Montessori, Nursery School Sunset Beach, we educate the 'whole' child through the senses promoting their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Children pass through sensitive periods of development early in life. Dr Montessori described the child's mind between the time of birth and six years of age as the 'absorbent mind'. It is during this stage that a child has a tremendous ability to learn and assimilate from the world around him without conscious effort.
