Integrated ECD Programmes

The Centre for Early Childhood Development runs a number of integrated ECD programmes. These programmes offer a combination of ECD services and support with the aim of taking ECD centres from subsistence to sustainability.

Some of the services we offer, through our integrated ECD programmes, include the following:

• Skills development training and teacher support
• Governing body training
• Minor upgrades
• Equipment provision and training
• Assistance with the registration process (with the Department of Social Development) to allow ECD centres to apply for the per capita subsidy
• Training and support for parents and other community members
